Transport (2022 - 2022)

Marianne tries to fix her mistake, but there is little she can do. Johanna traces the microchip through dubious methods and discovers it belonged to a Belgian pony that was illegally transported abroad. Sami makes his mother, Anita, angry by applying for his father's death certificate. Insurance investigator Inkeri takes an interest in the disappearance of Erik Korvola.

Joanna discovers that the pony's chip found its way into the baby food via fraud, but her search for more proof lands her in hot water. Hammarén makes Marianne an offer she can't refuse. When Anita is hospitalized, an old family friend appears on the scene. Inkeri is surprised to see a familiar face at the law firm.

Johanna's inquiries get her into trouble. Hammarén and Marianne test the new system with an incoming load. Not everyone is happy with Inkeri's investigative methods.

Marianne needs help and turns to the only person she trusts: her son, Jarkko. Johanna hears surprising news from Belgium. Sini remembers something relevant from the evening her father disappeared. Inkeri visits the grieving widow and discovers an unexpected connection.

Johanna and Inkeri share information and realize that there is one person who connects the two investigations: Erik Korvola. The National Bureau of Investigation takes an interest in their work. Marianne asks Hammarén if he had anything to do with her ex-lover's death, and Sini tells her brother what she witnessed the night their father disappeared.

Inkeri's car is ambushed and hit, leaving her injured. Sini and Sami need an explanation for their father's disappearance. Johanna decides to act again and in addition to evidence, she gets ahold of something even bigger. While on vacation with her college friend Jouni, Marianne decides she's done playing other people's games.

Jouni goes to the NBI with information on money laundering, but Marianne has more surprises in store. Johanna gets answers from the laboratory and sets out to expose the perpetrators. Sini and Sami give their father an ultimatum, and Erik is forced to choose between his safety and his children.
