Rising from the 8,20,000-year-old Tengger caldera, the smouldering Mount Bromo is a phenomenal sight to behold. Hannah Jackson gets to the top of the volcano and sees it smoking. She also visits Indonesia’s iconic nature reserve, the Komodo National Park, where she sees the beastly monitor lizards known as the Komodo dragons.

Hannah Jackson realizes why Komodo National Park has been named as one of the new seven wonders of the natural world when she beholds wondrous sights such as a pink beach, and experiences the local cuisine and traditions at the culturally unique and breathtakingly beautiful islands of the nature reserve. She also goes to the “Land Of Gods”, Bali, where she visits the architecturally striking Taman Ayun temple.

Bali, a tropical hideaway, manages to be an adventure seeker’s paradise, a spiritual sanctuary, a foodie’s haven and the retreat of a nature enthusiast all at once. This is something Hannah Jackson finds out for herself as she explores the temples of Bali such as the Ulan Danu temple, tries out ultra-fresh and delicious seafood, enjoys some adventurous activities such as a sea walk, and visits a turtle hatchery.
