In this installment of Better Man, VICE’s Taji Ameen explores the world of unconventional companionships with sex dolls. After picking up his very own sex doll straight from the showroom, he is set on a task to emotionally connect with the doll. Lucky for Taji he finds hope and some potential breakthroughs by meeting with Johnny Tiger, a blind, partially deaf, martial arts champion, and owner of many sex dolls. Will Taji be able to form a bond with the doll and become one step closer to becoming a better man?

On this installment of Better Man, VICE’s Taji Ameen seeks forgiveness after unintentionally creating an uproar in the ventriloquist community. The road to redemption is not an easy one, as it is incredibly self reflective and a true hit to the mind and soul, but after joining an alternative community on Vancouver Island he finds himself in the right hands for the journey. However, will Taji ever be forgiven for his actions in our ever changing critical world?
