Atlanterhavsroerne (2019 - 2019)

Two friends from Toten plan to row across the Atlantic. Stian gets cancer, beats it, and they set off for New York in 2018.

New York fades from view as the two row out toward open ocean. Early days bring seasickness, headwind and rain, then calm and sun. The good spell is short: a storm hits, the rudder fails, the fuel cell breaks, and they're forced to row with all electrical gear off, far out on the open sea.

Rune and Stian row hard and finally reach the Scilly Isles off southern England, where locals, wife and girlfriend are waiting. After just two days' rest they're back at the oars, heading up the English Channel with Norway in their sights.
